Now in its ninth year, Boutique Design New York (BDNY) is the leading trade fair and conference for hospitality design professionals, serving the eastern United States, Canada and Europe. Presented annually by Boutique Design at NYC’s Javits Center, BDNY has been ranked among the fastest-growing trade fairs in the U.S. for the past five years.

For two high-energy days each November, it’s the creative nexus of the industry—bringing 8,000+ interior designers, architects, purchasing agents and owners/developers together with more than 750 manufacturers and marketers of exceptional design elements for hospitality interiors.

Ranked among the fastest-growing trade fairs in the U.S. for the past three years, BDNY will expand again in 2019, to 135,000 nsf of exhibit space. More than 600 customized displays will offer a gallery of inventive furnishings, lighting, fabrics, wallcoverings, flooring, carpeting, bath and spa, accessories, artwork and more—exceptional products that create the wow in hotels, restaurants, spas, clubs and cruise ships around the world.

It’s an elevated trade fair experience that includes an extensive conference program with CEU sessions, hands-on demos and workshops; unique social events held at some of Manhattan’s most exciting venues; and an atmosphere conducive to learning, networking and growing your business.

Now in its 39th year, the Gold Key Award for Excellence in Hospitality Design is the industry’s most prestigious honor. Staged in New York each November in conjunction with BDNY, this renowned competition is produced by Emerald Expositions and presented by Boutique Design magazine.

There are a total of 21 categories, giving designers around the world the opportunity to showcase their influential and innovative design work in every sector of hospitality. The 2019 competition will open this summer. Check back for details.
