PAVE Creating Global Awareness& at Retail Design Collective


Hollywood, Fla. (October 21, 2015)-­ PAVE’s global creative vision will come to New York this December, as the retail design industry’s education foundation sponsors the Decorate Your Globe display and auction.

As retailers and designers visit participating showrooms during Retail Design Collective December 2-4, they will be treated to a display that celebrates and supports the global reach of PAVE.

Each participating Retail Design Collective showroom will design a globe with its own creative spin on the theme “Creating Global Awareness for PAVE.” The Decorate Your Globe display, inspired by the international CowParade public art display, includes an auction, with proceeds supporting PAVE’s scholarships and student aid.

PAVE will promote the location for each globe at the PAVE Gala on December, 2 and online at A.R.E. will also include information on each participating showroom’s design in the Retail Design Collective Little Black Book and online at

Attendees to both events will be encouraged to visit participating showrooms, see the globes and bid online via email or smart phone throughout the three days.

Founded in 1992, The Planning and Visual Education Partnership’s (PAVE) objective is to encourage students to study in the field of retail design and planning and visual merchandising through its annual Student Design Competition. Additionally, PAVE seeks to encourage retail management, store planners, visual merchandisers, architects, and manufacturers to interact with and support design students.
