2017 D L English Design Scholarship Application

Completed applications must be received at the PAVE office.

The mission of the Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) is to support students studying in the field of retail design and planning and visual merchandising; therefore, PAVE has created the Student Scholarship Program to assist students with funds to cover basic needs. In just seven years, PAVE’s Scholarship Program has proudly granted over $150,000 to students.

D L English Design Scholarship recognizes and supports leadership potential in the field of Retail Design through a $2,500 award*

Guidelines

  1. Student must be enrolled in a program working toward a degree in the Retail Design industry including but not limited to visual merchandising and interior design.
  2. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  3. Student must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
  4. Student must be a U.S. citizen studying within the western United States (Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington).

Application Requirements

The following items must be included along with your application form for your request to be considered:

 

All requests must be received by March 1, 2017.

  1. One Academic Reference
    • Their name, title and contact information
  2. Project Folio of 6 pages maximum: (8.5" x 11")
    • Describe or provide an example of a project (student based or professional) that you've worked on and that you are proud of (include supporting visuals). The project should demonstrate your ability or point of view related to the Retail Design field/industry.
  3. Must include a copy of your transcript (official or unofficial)

  • 1. Copy of your current transcript (official or unofficial)
  • 2. One academic reference
  • 3. Portfolio

Statement of Acceptance:

To be considered for these funds, I understand that I must be enrolled as a student in a program for visual merchandising or interior design. I am a full-time student enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours. The information I have provided and outlined in my letter is true. I understand that any suspected fraud will be reported to my educational institution.
