PAVE go go design experience 2020 is open to Retail Design and Architecture students culminating in a chance to win a unique opportunity to attend euro a go go 2020. If you are the lucky 2020 go go design experience recipient, you will receive a 9-day all-inclusive spot to participate in euro a go go 2020 at EuroShop Dusseldorf and the after show, a 3-day retail road trip to the amazing city of Madrid, Spain.

Included will be: round trip airfare, 4 and 5 star accommodations, breakfast daily, bus transportation to and from EuroShop and all scheduled retail, architectural, cultural and dinner events across our itinerary. In addition, you will be paired up with top level retailer and architectural firm executives for this truly once in a lifetime chance to experience the amazing, inspiring and insightful programs

Three finalists will be selected to attend the PAVE Gala in New York City on December 4, 2019, where the recipient will be announced. Finalists will have their Gala admittance, airfare, hotel accommodations and per diem covered.

The mission of the Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) is to support students studying in the field of retail design and planning and visual merchandising; PAVE's Scholarship, Financial Aid and Student Experience Programs have proudly granted over $225,000 to students.

1. Student must be enrolled in a program working toward a degree in Interior Design or Architecture, with a focus in the retail environments industry.

2. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

3. Available to college/university level students in their 3rd year or higher.

3. Student must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.

4. Student must currently be studying within North America.


Application Requirements:

The following items must be included in your application for your request to be considered:

1. Essay (Min. 500 words and Max. 600 words): Retail is undergoing an enormous transformation, leaving many asking, “What's the future of retail?” Tell us where you see the future of retail going.  (Must be submitted as a PDF. Spelling and grammar counts.)

2. Project Folio of 6 pages maximum. Describe a retail related project (student based or professional) that you’ve worked on and that you are proud of (include supporting visuals). Individual vs. team projects should be identified. For team projects, student should identify role. Projects may be hand drawn, computer generated, and/or a combination of both. Portfolio submissions exceeding 6 pages will not be considered. Retail projects are not limited to traditional stores, it also includes food & beverage, hospitality, banking/financial and/or medical.

3. One Letter of Recommendation. Recommendations can be from a professor, faculty member or an employer (including internship supervisors). Letters must be on school or company letterhead. Recommendations CANNOT be friends or family members.

4. Must include a copy of your transcript (official or un-official).
