PAVE Announces the 2019 Bergmeyer Scholarship Recipient

Hollywood, Fla. (November 26, 2019)—The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) has awarded Sarah Hill from the University of Oregon as the 2019 Bergmeyer Scholarship recipient. This scholarship recognizes and supports leadership potential in the Interior Design and Architecture field through a $1,500 award.

“In collaboration with PAVE, Bergmeyer would like to congratulate Sarah Hill from the University of Oregon as the recipient of the 2019 Bergmeyer Scholarship. We extend our appreciation to all of the talented design students from colleges and universities across the United States who submitted applications to the fifth annual Bergmeyer Scholarship with PAVE. Bergmeyer would like to recognize Sarah in particular for her comprehensive and unexpectedly bold approach to the redefinition of retail spaces and the design of branded environments,” said Rachel Zsembery, Vice President at Bergmeyer.

The PAVE Scholarship Program, now in its tenth year, provides financial assistance to students in educational programs preparing them for careers in the retail environments industry, including but not limited to careers in retail design and planning, and visual merchandising industries. PAVE was developed to help ensure a future talent pool for the industry by eliminating barriers to studying in these fields. The funds assist students who are experiencing financial difficulties that may prevent them from continuing school. PAVE has awarded over $200,000 in financial grants over the past ten years to students.
