Position Overview

Intermediate designer within the firm's retail and branded environments practice.


Responsibilities

Will work on specialty retail and department store projects, with the potential to also work on office/showroom, hospitality-driven spaces, building lobbies and amenities. Responsible for concept design, design development, the development of technical drawings, material specifications and finishes, and the management of junior staff. Will have the opportunity for client contact, collaboration with consultants and will work directly with the design principal and directors.


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4-9 years of experience in retail, hospitality, and/or branded environments

  • Strong skills in concept design and design development with solid experience in design detailing and FF&E

  • A compelling portfolio of retail, hospitality, and/or branded environment projects is required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • A detail-oriented mindset and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong verbal presentation skills and proven ability to sell ideas

  • Ability to develop material specifications

  • Ability to translate concept through technical application in partnership with architectural teams

  • Must be proficient in 2D/3D modeling and rendering software and related apps, including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Enscape, Photoshop and Adobe apps

  • Is collaborative, builds bridges with teams, is an intentional listener and constantly curious

  • Empowers others and encourages growth


Compensation + Benefits

Salary Range: $80K/Yr - $97K/Yr with competitive benefits package
