PAVE Global and Bish Creative are thrilled to announce Tatum Andreetta, a Visual Studies student from LIM College, as the recipient of the 2024 Bish Creative Point-of-Purchase (POP) Scholarship + Experience. The award includes a $2,500 scholarship, a 5-day immersive mentorship experience at Bish Creative in Chicago, and an invitation to attend the 2024 PAVE Gala in New York City.

Jerry Fox, CEO of Bish Creative Display, expressed his enthusiasm about this year's winner: "As PAVE continues to mentor, inspire, and connect. It is with great privilege we announce a 2nd annual winner of the Bish Creative POP Scholarship + Experience, Tatum Andreetta from LIM College. Not only did her portfolio exude creativity and innovation, I had the pleasure of meeting her in person and witnessing her passion for her craft, inquisitive tone, and her incredible design skills. All of these characteristics will bode well for an outstanding career in the design world. We wish Tatum well and look forward to celebrating with her at the PAVE Gala."

Andreetta's journey to design is a compelling narrative of personal growth and discovery. In her personal statement, she shared:

"I come from a home where certainty was valued above all else. [...] Pursuing a career in graphic design, particularly in point-of-purchase retail displays, resonates with me on a deeply personal level. These displays are the overlooked storytellers of retail spaces; the elements that shape a customer's journey without them even realizing it."

Her unique perspective on retail display design as a blend of creativity and strategy particularly impressed the selection committee.

"Designing point-of-purchase displays is about more than just showcasing a product," Andreetta wrote, "it is about telling a story in a way that is understated yet powerful. It is about taking something abstract such as a brand's essence, and making it tangible, impactful, and unforgettable."

In recognition of this year's exceptional talent pool, Bish Creative has extended an additional opportunity to Adrianna Kimmitt, a Graphic Design student at Savannah College of Art and Design. While not the primary scholarship recipient, Kimmitt will also receive a 5-day mentorship experience at Bish Creative in Chicago, highlighting the company's commitment to nurturing emerging talent in the industry.

The annual Bish Creative POP Scholarship + Experience was established to support students pursuing careers in retail display design, recognizing excellence in fields including Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Applied Design, Engineering Design, UX Design, Product Design, and Branding.
