Position Overview:
KPGD is looking for a highly motivated, organized, driven individual who will be responsible for increasing sales by identifying and developing new architectural/design clients as well as pursuing new national accounts to build our exclusive brands as well as the Karen Pearse Brand of products and services. This position will require local travel within the NYC area.
Responsibilities:
Identify and establish contact with potential clients
Schedule visits with Architectural/Design firms and National accounts to promote KPGD products and services
Deliver samples, provide hands-on explanations of products, offer alternatives/solutions, arrange “Lunch & Learn” sessions
Keep current with new products, working with Sales support, librarian, and project managers
Build solid, trusting relationships with new clients with consistent follow up
Generate and submit regular sales reports to management; attend scheduled sales meetings
Attend industry trade shows as required
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Superb organizational skills.
Exceptional Customer Service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
Focused team player with a solid, consistent work ethic, exhibiting professional behavior.
Knowledge of architectural materials, stone, and/or tile, is required.
Interior design experience/knowledge is a plus
Ability to read architectural drawings, a plus
A personal car is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary ($50-$60K) plus commission
