PAVE Global in partnership with Tag Worldwide is pleased to announce that we are now accepting nominations for the 2023 edition of the PAVE Educator of the Year Award!
Launched in 2022, the PAVE Educator of the Year Award honors and celebrates full-time educators for their outstanding accomplishments and commitment to design education.
The Educator of the Year Honoree consistently engages and inspires their students in new and exciting ways, seeks resources and opportunities beyond the classroom to enrich the current curriculum, demonstrates strong leadership within their department, makes significant contributions to the profession, and demonstrates excellence in teaching.
Sponsored by Tag Worldwide, this is what their COO, Lyndon Neal had to say about partnering with PAVE to support the future- “PAVE Global is an exceptional foundation—one I feel very privileged to be part of. What excites me most is that, much like Tag, PAVE focuses on ways to invest in people—our future creatives and designers, by building and cultivating diverse and inclusive relationships between educators and students. As leaders, it’s our responsibility to also be mentors and inspire greatness in others and each other. And through PAVE Global and the wonderful educational and financial programs established, I know the design industry is in capable and caring hands.”
Industry peers, colleagues, and administrators are invited to nominate a deserving Educator who has significantly shaped and inspired the design leaders of tomorrow. Self-nominations will also be accepted this year. Nominations are free and easy — simply complete the electronic nomination form found at paveglobal.org/educatoraward by Monday, October 30, 2023, by 11:59 PM Eastern/8:59 PM Pacific.
All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals and educators not affiliated with the nominees. The 2023 Educator of the Year Award Honoree will be recognized on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the PAVE Gala in New York City. Additionally, $1,500 grants will be awarded to both the Honoree and their School/Department
