Hollywood, Fla. (April 30, 2021)— The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) has awarded $20,000 in Financial Aid Grants to 38 talented student designers in need. PAVE is a vital and effective organization that enables young talent to build successful careers in all aspects of the retail environments industry. Our vision is to cultivate relationships with students and educators through financial assistance, top industry thinking, inspiration and mentorship. PAVE's Scholarship, Financial Aid and Student Experience Programs have proudly granted over $231,500 to students over the last three years.
The PAVE Student Aid Program, now in its eleventh year, provides financial assistance to students in educational programs preparing them for careers in the retail environments industry, including, but not limited to careers in retail design, interior design, architecture, UX design, industrial design and visual merchandising. The program was developed to help ensure a future talent pool for the industry by eliminating barriers to studying in these fields. The funds assist students who are experiencing financial difficulties that may prevent them from continuing school.
In continuing its commitment to supporting students across the globe, this year’s PAVE Student Aid Program provided financial assistance to students from 6 different countries- Canada, Malaysia, Spain, India, Indonesia and the United States of America. Of the US-based students 8 states were represented- Ohio, California, Kentucky, North Carolina, New York, Michigan, Minnesota and Kansas.
